Also don't forget that beer sales in Alabama alone account for a total of $384,464,860 of taxes per year. Beer also accounts for an economic contribution of over 1.2 billion in the state of Alabama. Not to mention that because of beer alone, Alabama residents enjoy an additional 14,703 jobs.(http://www.beerservesamerica.org/state.php?state=AL&zip=&address=&city=)
How great is it that beer exists? Ben Franklin said, "beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy". I don't think it is the lone proof but it doesn't hurt.
